I earned my bachelor's degree at the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ), followed by my master's degree at the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP). Later, I completed my Ph.D. at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). After that, I was a Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Davis. I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Smith College.
My research interests encompass discrete geometry, combinatorics, graph theory, data analysis, and algorithm theory. I am especially drawn to problems involving the structure and properties of point sets, lines, and polytopes. While these areas are my primary focus, my curiosity often extends to related topics within these fields.
I am originally from the city of Querétaro, and I have also lived in San Luis Potosí, Davis (California), and now in Massachusetts. I enjoy reading, playing with my dogs, traveling, and exploring new cultures, especially through food. I also appreciate many forms of artistic expression, even if I am not an expert, and I deeply value a good conversation.
